dyeing preperation
Before we begin the dyeing process, we carefully prepare a formula for each specific color. This starts with selecting the right combination of chemicals and dyes based on the color specifications provided by our clients.
Once the formula is finalized, our experienced team meticulously weighs each chemical and dye according to the precise measurements. This step ensures accuracy and consistency, as even slight variations in the dye mixture can impact the final result. We take great care in blending the ingredients to create a perfectly balanced solution that will bond seamlessly to the fibers during the dyeing process.

At Schevratex Yarns, we offer two specialized dyeing processes to ensure the perfect color and finish for your materials: pressurized dyeing for yarn and hank (or skein) dyeing for chainette and slide cords.
For both methods, we carefully heat the chemicals and dyes to set the color into the fibers. Each dyeing cycle takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Our pressurized dyeing process for yarn and hank dyeing for chainette are optimized to deliver vibrant and consistent color results. We have the capacity to dye up to 10,000 lbs of chainette and slide cord per week, and up to 1,500 lbs of yarn per week, accommodating both large-scale production and custom orders.
washing
Once the dyeing is complete, we thoroughly wash your materials to remove all excess dyes and chemicals, leaving you with clean, high-quality products that shine.
drying
The goods are then placed in an extractor to remove all moisture, ensuring you pay only for the dyed material, not the water weight.
Finally, we dry the goods in our state-of-the-art drying room, which maintains a controlled temperature of up to 40°C over a 12-hour period, ensuring perfect consistency and texture.
